Unlocking the device

As a safety measure, the device locks when the PIN code is typed in incorrectly for 3 times in a row. To unlock it, follow these steps:

1. Click on Start, select All Programs, choose Gemalto, then Classic Client and click on Classic Client Toolbox.

2. Click on Card Administration.



3. From the left-hand side of the next window, select PIN Management, tick the Unblock PIN checkbox and click Next

Warning! Your device will permanently lock if you enter the wrong PUK code 3 consecutive times. In this situation, you will need to buy a new token and a new digital certificate.



4. Enter your PUK code in the field Admin PIN. The PUK code is printed in the letter you received from certSIGN. See example... (opens in new tab)

5. Type the new PIN code in the fields New PIN and Confirm New PIN and click on Unblock PIN.
